So who’s the voice behind The Home Business Ideas Newsletter?
My name is Robert Watson and I’ve been happily online since about 1997, but had several successful home businesses years before, including making hundreds of dollars a month when I first “caught the entrepreneurial bug” when I was 12 years old. Those home businesses (and I didn’t call it that back then) have come and gone, or changed over the years of course, but for the last 9 years I have had the lazy lifestyle of waking up when I want, going to bed when I want, being a lazy bum if the weather is nice, and not having a boss hovering over me controlling my direction or destiny.
I first used the internet to research stocks as a speculative investor which, long story short, proved quite successful and opened many doors. Now my investing gratification usually is in the world of LEAPS or long-term stock options, but I only jump on an opportunity when it is damn close to “sure thing”, and worth the risk.
Today, I spend my days managing both online and offline income streams, many of which are passive, and require very little upkeep - besides cashing checks. *I know.. it’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it.
My income these days comes from: affiliate marketing, copy writing, web design, graphic design, video creation, product reviews, blogging, ad revenue (not JUST Adsense), Google Adwords, my own info products and services, online and offline consulting, seo, content creation and system/process creation for businesses of all shapes and sizes. (That’s the short list, but when you are a home business entrepreneur you do certainly wear a lot of hats - - not to say I don’t outsource the mundane, boring stuff I consider to be a “chore” if I don’t want to do it).

You are welcome to contact me with burning questions or comments. I will try to give you a KICK in the right direction. Of course, please be mindful (most of my readers are savvy enough not to need the warning, but…) that if you ask a question that requires me to shed my soul, give away my house or homes, or requires such an investment of time to properly answer, deep down inside you know instinctually, you really should be paying for such an answer, keep in mind I have not just one home business to run, but several.
That said, your investment is minimal (no, no monetary cost”, but just a few minutes to ask what’s on your mind). Honestly, for all the people all there seeking answers, very FEW ever bother to ask the questions, ironically. Try your best to make your question be specific, so that my answer can be specific and tailored to YOU.
If you don’t want your niche or specific subject matter published, in relation to my response to you, SAY SO. I can still answer your questions, and educate the masses, while keeping your information confidential.
Often, depending on the depth your question requires one to answer, I’ll respond via video demonstration or sometimes audio. Blog entries are nice if they are short and sweet, but “Rob” - (that’s ME!) has a life.
If you want some secondary brainstorming for your home business ideas, I’m all game. Odds are great that I can take your ember of an idea and transform it into a roaring bonfire that makes a mark. And that’s a good thing.
